EDIT/ Okay, I have to admit it. I love this silly little thing way more than I probably should. So, I decided to vectorize it to sell prints and eventually t-shirts of. /EDIT


... I dunno.

I wanted to mold something with clay because I haven't done that in ages. And I couldn't decide what to mold. Then a friend of mine said some sentence using the words "money" and "chainsaw" (not in the context you're prolli thinking) and I misread money as monkey.

I decided I wanted to mold a monkey holding a chainsaw.

A really really freaking cute chibi monkey covered in blood.

Yep.

Anyway, I decided to sketch a picture of it first to give me an idea of what I was doing. I ended up thinking it was so cute I inked and colored it.

I've begun sculpting but haven't finished. Prolli won't be appear in my gallery for awhile since I can't find the cord to connect my digital camera to my comp.

Clay molding is a good first step to making a model for metal casting. I'd be interested to see you try metal sculpture... Mostly because of irony.

Otherwise, on the topic matter.... I'm not surprised. Or unnerved.

Almost reminds me of those cute little monkeys on little girls' shirts. I wish they made a shirt of this. I'd totally wear it.
