Commissioned by ~ScarzTEchidna. He had given me a list of names he had gotten from a random mascot generator and then told me to pick one out and design it as a Sonic character for him.
This was my choice: "Flame the mandrill - the dishonest, red-colored magician." I chose him because I felt that of the bunch a mandrill would be the most unique and challenging animal to try adapting into the Sonic style. A couple others I had seriously considered were a rockstar lynx named Grinder and a druidess dingo named Guide. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. This is actually quite nifty to the point that I'm going to be sad and actually give him a back history... Now if only I knew what animal a Mandrill was. DX
